"local clock" here should mean a GPS or other NIST-based time standard... If they're visibly off something is wrong....

With Tom Lehrer's passing, I suppose this is a moment to share the story of the prank he played on the National Security Agency, and how it went undiscovered for nearly 60 years.

Are (I think) disc-detainer style lock cylinders common on AU vehicles?

Note the SAM split does need tape or cabric bandages to work - but it's moldable to fit various needs and stores compactly.

Sam Medical SP507-OB-EN Flat Fold Sam Splint Orange and Blue 36 inches The Sam splint is based on an ancient construction principle: curves are strong. It can be used on most broken bones and is very flexible and malleable. When a curve or fold is place anywhere across its longitudinal axis, it becomes rigid and suitable for splinting. It's radiolucent and can be cleaned and even cut with a regular pair of scissors if necessary. Hold it in position with elastic wrap, gauze, tape or whatever material you have available. Orange - flat fold 36" long x 4.25" wide, weighs 4 ounces.

First-aid refresher the other week - EMT teacher recommended SAM splints (www.amazon.com/SAM-Splint-F...) Also, don't think I saw Naloxone on your original list.

Not generally considered a must-have for first aid, since the general concept is to solve immediate issues while seeking professional medical attention. Not a primary vital sign basically.
I think I’d get more use out of a cheap infrared one in the auto kit personally.

Those Apache cases are great! I have one that I use for camera stuff for traveling. "Shoe Goo" works well for glueing the foam together.

AED prices still seem too high for my budget, though I'd like to have one for my diving stuff. I do carry O2 though, but that can be problematic to source for many, and has other storage and use challenges.

6 pack - Key Ring CPR Mask - Emergency Face Shield with One-way valve | eBay CPR masks are a must when performing CPR or rescue breathing as they help prevent cross-contamination with the person receiving CPR. Be prepared to give CPR when it's needed! CPR Face Shield / CPR Fac...

They make keychain pocket masks like www.ebay.com/itm/19598305... better than nothing. The full-size ones aren't bad though: www.redcross.org/store/laerda...

Yeah, I missed the Alt Text until after I posted a reply. My bad. Nice approach, regardless. I need to pull my kit out next week when I re-up my diving first-aid/o2 training and evaluate it, since I didn't originally put it together.

Tape of various sorts? (Improvised bandage retention, splint creation, etc. CPR Mask? Trauma shears, pliers/cutters? Sterile saline solution. Space blanket?

the sales numbers are so low that it remains true that if you see a Cybertruck, you are likely seeing the very stupidest person in that area

Apparently "Tabletop Exercise" is this year's phrase at $work. Why call it a "meeting" where we have "discussions" when it can be a "Tabletop Exercise" just minus the whole gamification part and letting scenarios play out to see what happens and what can be learned.

I don't post much...but maybe a 'current goings on' will work. Currently have two Open Water SCUBA students which is fun - pool time is good time. And community band(s) has started back up. Having fun activities to look forward to thru the week makes things better.

John Williams nearly fell into our laps off the stage a few years ago when we saw him with the Baltimore Symphony - he kinda stumbled coming off the podium a bit, and we were in the front row center.
