A bright yellow sunflower blooming high above my eye level. It is likely a variant of a Lemon Queen sunflower as that was the most common variety of sunflower that I have planted in the past. There is a large evergreen tree in the background and the sky is cloudy and grey.

🌱 I was overwhelmed trying to redesign and install the back gardens after the septic tank install that I didn't have time to plant one of my favorite flowers this Spring. Mother Nature helped me out, as I have quite a few self-seeded sunflowers to enjoy this year. #bloomscrolling #garden #Zone8b
