Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week. Odd Socks Day 2025 is taking place on Monday 10th November. Children can wear odd socks to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique! There is no cost to take part in this.

Halloween fun last week!🎃👻

This week, we became scientists with the help from the The Famous Four at Forth Valley College. We had the opportunity to make towers, heat a home, power a potato and create our own balloon cars! 🥼🧑🏽‍🔬🥔

This week we learned about food hygiene and safety as well as making healthy food choices. We decided to make some fruit kebabs and have a taste test 🍌🍓🍇

This week we helped our buddies read their questions on Sumdog and had a play in their area! 😊

Today we began our plans for this years Rota Kids projects and discussed ways we can raise money for our chosen charities ❤️ We also received a certifate from the rotary to recognise the hard work of last years Hallglen Rota Kids 😊

Double shoutout to L today, celebrating achievements inside and outside of school this week! Well done L 🤩

We have been learning about decider skills with Tina from Inclusion and Wellbeing. This week we tried guided meditation to help us relax. We also learned about STOPP - ask us about this at home and give meditation a try before bed🧘🏾😌

We have come to the end of our Place Value topic for numeracy so spent some time today revising our knowledge🧮
