Anybody in Cardiff that can help me. I am looking to find relatives of two daughters of Dr David Joseph Buckley. he married Olive Kelly in Nov 1926 in Cardiff. Their daughters Mary B Davis died Nov 1996 and Ellen Meecock died 1986. I believe they lived in and around Cardiff.

I am delighted to see this exhibition at 44 Connell St Limk. I had the pleasure of doing the research for it. Wouldn't it be great to see other buildings exhibited like this. To show that behind now, empty buildings lie a rich history whose occupants helped the city thrive at one stage.

I am sure that people within Ireland the Irish diaspora and others wrote letters about the fire that have survived. I am still interested in diary entries in the days after the fire even if they do not mention the fire. I am interested in understanding how people viewed the fire at Dromcollogher.

Making great progress with this project. And now I am looking for the publics help again. I am looking to source letters and diaries that talk about the fire. I have found some and hoping more will turn up hidden in drawers and in attics.

This will be of great of use in identifying women publicans in Ireland. Guinness have already made its trade ledgers available online. In my own research it has already proved useful.
