Anthropic-Pentagon battle shows how big tech has reversed course on AI and war Less than a decade ago, Google employees scuttled any military use of its AI. Now Anthropic is fighting Trump officials not over if, but how The standoff between Anthropic and the Pentagon has forced the tech industry to once again grapple with the question of how its products are used for war – and what lines it will not cross. ‘Titanic’ statue of Trump and Epstein on the Mall draws praise, scorn The statue, depicting them embracing on a replica of the Titanic bow, is the third placed on the Mall by the artists depicting a connection between Trump and Epstein.

The anonymous artists who have targeted President Trump with satirical statues and installations struck again with a statue of the president embracing Jeffrey Epstein in a replica of the famous “King of the World” scene from the movie “Titanic.”

small maroon-colored book: "it's only forever: labyrinth."
"a tender and beautiful book tgat reminds us that the things that make ys other are the same that give us power." back cover with synopsis of book (available on ECW's pop classics site) inside cover with geometric burgundy labyrinth reminiscent of an 80s PC game toc: labyrinth and the spectacle of growing up; labyrinth and queer amazement; labyrinth and the romance of failure; goblin mode and liberation; ways of being green; labyrinth and the contradictions of 80s cinema; jim henson's masquerade; nostalgia and labyrinth's afterlives

Just received copies of this lovely book (look at those labyrinthine end papers!) from @ecwpress.bsky.social I hope folks pre-order it and enjoy it, because it’s a queer ride full of goblins, 80s history, fairy tales, and trans joy. Just in time for the 40th anniversary of #labyrinth

I really hope people advocating to ban kids from SM read this. Some kids are isolated by disabilities or circumstances. Furthermore, some kids grow up in abusive households. “Ideally, a child’s exposure to online worlds should be moderated by their parents” isn’t a reassuring sentiment for everyone
