Most casual players I've seen are really into it though, especially my friend's kids. It's gonna be funny to see people whose first MK game was World and when they get rid of connecting tracks in a new game down the line they get mad and want them back 😂
I agree a lot of long time fans definitely just want to play the classic 3-lap which it is nice that they left that option in the game cuz usually they don't give you that option i.e. Double Dash.
The sad part is Ai probably can help things move faster by doing mundane things quickly and efficiently freeing up human workers to focus on the creative end of things. But we all know big companies are gonna use AI to do the creative things terribly just to keep from having to pay people.
I really enjoy the connecting tracks! There's over 100 different combinations so it really keeps the game fresh. As a kid I knew a lot of people who hated that Double Dash "forced" you to play with two racers and didn't let you turn off the new custom items. People warmed up to it eventually though.
