A week ago, I decided to pick a Premier League team to root for, while learning about soccer.

Here’s why the Texas resume is fascinating.

Seven Quadrant 1 wins should absolutely get you in, but most of their metrics otherwise, including a 12-15 effective record and a horrid NC SOS, should absolutely leave you out.

No correct answer, per se, when that’s the resume.

NEW: Texas is done at the SEC Tournament.

It is now left to wait and scoreboard watch at 19-15 overall, with seven Quadrant 1 wins and blah metrics.

Why didn’t Texas football’s Steve Sarkisian pursue reported NFL interest after CFP run? Sarkisian is 25-4 with back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances since the start of the 2023 season
