The face you make when you are honestly VERY excited about picking up all of the Midnight Lantern promotional materials from the printer...until you realize you have to carry them all by yourself...and it is raining. The rest of us are thrilled!
We've also thrown together a fun worksheet that we will have at our booth for the middle graders attending Odd Con at Carver Middle School tomorrow. With that, we officially start convention season! Check out the site for upcoming events and details!

We always look forward to each month's Whiskey and Words at Where House Bar and this was the perfect time for the maiden voyage of our new banner, an impromptu business meeting, and to share some of the new Cullen 3-Packs with the group.
Last night a few of our favorite regulars braved the storms and otherwise terrible weather to write fantastical stories based on the incredible prompts that Cullen had concocted for the month.
This weekend, the board (and a few other friends) got together to put together sets of comic books. Three thousand of them, in fact. The inspiration for the sets was, of course, the classic 3-Pack Whitman Comics that I loved so much as a kid.

We are incredibly exited about testing some birthday cake recipes that Cindy brought up last week. Has anyone else had this soda based concoction before? Am I the only one that has been missing out or is this a fever dream?
Lately, I’ve found myself thinking a lot about toys. It’s funny how that can take you right back to childhood.
We all had that one special toy—the one we couldn’t wait to open, the one we carried everywhere, the one that felt like pure happiness in our hands.
