TUCKER: Mr. President, why did you launch this invasion as if Iran posed an imminent threat to America?

TRUMP: Tucker, you were a historian, yes? I will take a minute of your time to give you some brief background here. Let us begin with the Rashidun invasion of the Sasanians by Caliph Umar in 542—

Everyone knows the right way to combat rising prices as a result of a supply shock is to drop interest rates so that prices rise even faster.

the stink of gender resentment coming off Silicon Valley has been obvious for a while. these men hate women because they hate being told no.

Antisemitism in America does not justify apartheid in Israel, apartheid is Israel does not justify antisemitism in America, a very simple concept that people seem to have a lot of trouble grasping.

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.

Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off.

The 25th is never happening.

The Trump administration could really restore confidence by getting the entire Cabinet to ride a tanker through the Straits of Hormuz to show everyone how safe and easy it is now.

They could bring along a lot of MAGA influencers and Fox News hosts to broadcast it all live!

the key to making it work is just having signals at the right place so you can cross the big blvds safely when you have to. they've been doing "bike boulvards" on the side streets that are essentially that + a little extra traffic calming measures that most people like on neighborhood streets anyway

this is actually a v serious story about a French mayor trying to block a Kanye West gig over his antisemitic remarks but the image has killed me www.euronews.com/culture/2026...

biking in tucson has been so revealing to me. the city is built out of a grid of huge blvds 1 mile apart and v chill neighborhood streets w/in each square. biking within the squares is super pleasant and biking on the streets, even though they have bike lanes, feels like a recipe for death

A rich text this, my favourite being the use of the word 'Karens' to describe commodities traders.

Might have to amend 'all stories are about management, other than the ones that are about commodities' to 'all stories are actually about people's weird views on gender'.
