Honestly I’m just shocked nobody looked at this stuff before? Nobody reported the podcast interview until today and that article only focused on the antisemitism angle presumably because of whoever was pushing this as oppo research but like.

once again, even if considering Platner purely from a “competence” perspective, after the Nazi tattoo news cycle, why would you agree to go on a YouTube podcast without your staff vetting the podcast? or if they did, why weren’t the racist videos about Black people a dealbreaker?

but there is no measure by which this is not appallingly racist and Platner being such an avowed FAN of someone who spouts bigoted slop like this that he was willing to sit down in the middle of a campaign for an interview & praise the guy & promote his channel is bananas.

(tbh a lot of the titles of his videos seem pretty nonsensical to me or at least require cooking your brain in online conspiracy juice in order to understand them so it’s not a fully coherent political worldview but still)

Have you considered that a podcast doesn’t stop being hosted by an antisemitic conspiracy nut just because a news site that first reported Platner was a guest on it is one that you have deemed Zionist? you can, in fact, objectively read or listen to what the podcast host has said and confirm this!
