The Link Between Leadership and Employee Behavior - Dr. Kathy Allen
How mindless obedience or sleepwalking at work impacts leadership and employee behavior, and ways to initiate a shift in mindset.
Continuing my series on "sleepwalking" at work, I explore the link between how we define leadership and the relationships in our organizations. Those relationships can either engage employees or make them tune out. https://bit.ly/464QynN

This is a great example of why the old paradigm of treating organizations as machines and people within them as cogs is deeply outdated. Leadership that prioritizes flow state, values employees' input on the tasks they perform, and respects individual needs is the way forward.

The High Price of Sleepwalking at Work - Dr. Kathy Allen
Learn how the cost of employees sleepwalking at work takes a significant toll on leaders and the entire organization.
There's a myth in leadership that things would be easiest if employees followed directions without questioning, resisting, or thinking for themselves. But encouraging employees to sleepwalkβjust go through the motionsβcomes at a cost.
