when the gender dysphoria is so bad, the mpreg fic reads like a psychological horror 😵‍💫

as a t guy, i love mpreg as an idea, but once i was reading k/s mpreg in which kirk is pregnant and everyone (including spock!) starts treating him like he’s fragile and try to prevent him from doing normal captain stuff. scared me so bad, i had to put the fic down.

i really like discovery, but it’s been kind of hard for me to get through ngl. nu trek doesn’t have enough episodes per season for filler, so shit is just constantly happening to these characters…. come on, give them a beach episode!!! or something!!!

i’m going to another powerpoint party with some coworkers in a few weeks and i think my topic will be reasons why i see data’s character arc as a bit of a transgender allegory. am i cooking or no?
