$10 would have been lovely! But what does the gaming audience know? I think that's what gen 1 and 2 went for on the 3ds and about as much time has passed for gen 3 now. The subscription model is valuable and works well, but I know people have different preferences wrt how they pay for games.

on the other hand, the one positive is you only have to pay once and own it versus the subscription. And honestly, I'm a little surprised they didn't price it higher 🤷‍♂️ greed abounds
