Wednesday, September 24th (aka my bday) is going to be the LAST day of Arty-Thon.

My grandpa is making me to go Michigan and I’ll be out of town the entire weekend, which of course wasn’t a requirement of mine until after I announced and started this stream.

You may have noticed that I've been streaming a bit less than usual lately and you would be correct, don't worry this is NOT a retirement announcement. I love streaming and I plan to do it for as long as you'll allow me. August has been busy and there's been a lot going on but I think being transparent is only fair to the people who choose to spend their free time with me, for starters I've been working my little toosh off at a job that I genuinely love, I have had the pleasure to work 5 concerts between 3 different towns/cities and that has been a super fucking cool experience. However, in addition to having an entry level position for my dream job and sprinkling some streams in between, there has been quite a few downsides to August as well. The most obvious roadblock is probably the constant construction that's been happening as my grandpa is tearing down walls, nailing down flooring, and hammering his soul away upstairs simply because those are all things you can hear on stream, which I don't think is fair to subject everyone to while searching for entertainment. The next being something I've loosely talked about and that being having a substance abuse conversation with my mother which I think ultimately ended up going alright. And the last being something I haven't really mention at all which is my grandma being put into hospice on Wednesday leading to her unfortunate passing last night in her sleep. Now, with all this being said again, I'm not retiring but instead preventing myself from the inevitable burn out that would've come with consistent streaming on top of everything else. I will probably continue to be patchy for the upcoming week or so for obvious reasons given what I just told you but I do plan to knock out content in September so keep your eyes out for that. I'm in a place where I'm good and I'm mentally comfortable all things provided but in order to keep myself in that headspace I have sacrificed stream hours. Thanks for understanding.

August has been a rollercoaster

They moved my grandma to hospice and basically told her to kill herself.

When it rains it pours, man.

I guess it went fine? She was already court ordered from her last arrest so she’s already legally required to do what we were asking her to anyway. Not much else we could ask for I suppose.

Staging a drug intervention for my mom is something I’m wildly not mentally prepared for today.
