Main conclusions: Gender minority stressors (GMS) are a risk factor for same-day alcohol use. Resilience factors may also be associated with increased alcohol use. As such, interventions to reduce TGD youth's alcohol use should address GMS and support TGD youth to cope with these stressors.

40 trans and gender diverse youth (18-29) across Canada participated in a 3-week study measuring their use of alcohol and experiences with gender minority stress.
