Council funding crisis risks further explosion in knife violence, campaigners warn New research, shared with Channel 4 News, suggests that children directly affected by violence are twice as likely to regularly attend youth clubs as those who have not.

Further youth service cuts will put young people at increased risk, campaigners say.

This weekend, Ms Brella’s body will be repatriated to the family home along with personal, sentimental items that will allow the family to start preparing for Harshita Brella’s funeral.

We’ve also confirmed that Ms Brella had no recourse to public funds.

Charities say this leaves migrant women who’ve suffered domestic violence even more vulnerable; taking away womens security and often leaving little option other than returning to the perpetrator.
