The news about the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center to support autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is very exciting. The center's goal to help children with autism become independent and respected members of society through music is a lovely fit for Suga. Inspired by Suga, some ARMY may decide to donate to other ASD charities, either due to preferring to support alternative programs or looking for something more local. We have had a few questions of our own about what we look for in ASD-related charities and, in addition to the standard charity checks, we generally look for organizations that have people with ASD on their board and in other leadership/staffing positions and also avoid programs that look to cure ASD. We love seeing all the wonderful initiatives and projects being discussed by ARMY. If you would like us to track your donation or project, don't forget to submit to our general donation form or map form once the project is complete.

In the meantime, we have updated our general donation form to include autism support in the list of causes.

We wanted to share that we have also sent an email to Severance Hospital asking all the same questions about how ARMY can participate. Hopefully, they will have a chance to get back to us and we will share updates when they do.
