It tells you the infection spread outside krat (sequel bait). Tells you Romeo, Sophias and Carlos/P's backstory and introduces you to Alidoro and Medoro which I really wanted to know more about. It does a good job making the state of the world in the base game plausible too which I appreciated.

That's fair, I played both base game and dlc back to back and the dlc answered basically every question I had left and cared about from the main story in mostly satisfying ways so I was on board, if you didn't care about base game story I get it being annoying

Wucheng combat feels like ASS after being used to LoP LMAO

Beat the third boss but god damn there's so much less oomf in your attacks than im used to T_T

Lies of P DLC is a step up from the basegame in every way and the final boss is easily up there for my favourite souls like boss of all time.

I've always really liked PoE 1's soundscape but i know a lot of people despise it for being a cluttered mess.

I was watching a stream today and realized why it works for me.

It uses audio ducking layers with different priorities for effects so stuff you need to react to is always clearly audible
