Random fact about my art: you have to ask "is this <character_name>?", then most likely the answer is no.
I'm quite meticulous when it comes to fan art, and if it's not just a quick doodle, I ensure the character is recognizable and retains most of their signature features.

This whole thing took me exactly six and a half hours to make🤓
I think it could've been done faster using the liquify tool, but I heard somewhere that it's better not to be lazy and draw everything by hand...

I agree we shouldn't be pressured to be productive 24\7, but to be frank, I never benefited from taking a break for more than a month
It's like athletics - adequate breaks make you stronger, but stop practicing for a year and you lose a lot of progress, while starting again feels excruciating

One of the points was that I should lean towards art styles that are currently popular if I want to make money by selling my art
I agree to an extent, but adopting popular art styles means you now have to compete with everyone else using them, and also lose some of your individuality as an artist.

могу чуточку успокоить только тем что строгость законов компенсируется необязательностью их выполнения
но к сожалению текущая система как будто бы больше стремится к тому чтобы все просто на цыпочках ходили и тряслись о том "как бы чего не вышло"
