During my speech at the 🌬️ TradeWinds Shipowners Forum, I called for a just and equitable transition to green shipping.

We will work together to develop a new international framework for training and working and living conditions for seafarers. Re-skilling and up-skilling are also key.

Valuable exchange with Mr Han Kok Juan, Director-General of Singapore’s Civil Aviation Authority ahead of the ICAO’s 42nd assembly at the end of the year.

🛫 Aviation unites the EU and Singapore, and we will keep working toward enhanced connectivity & sustainability.

Over the past few days I’ve had the opportunity to speak at the #SingaporeMaritimeWeek & meet with trusted transport partners as the EU & Singapore move together toward decarbonisation.

The EU will continue championing measures at home & the uptake of alternative fuels across all transport sectors.
