I'd really appreciate if writers these days took a look at their characters doing therapyspeak and whether that's appropriate for their work and their world.

By "therapyspeak" I mean speaking like this: "This is the emotion I'm feeling, and feeling that emotion makes me want to act in a way"

Its trying to contort several story structures into a 1 narrative guide that doesnt work cause there's no thought regarding it. It makes no sense because its attempting to force a 3 act structure on everything.
So you get this mess attempting to encapsulate all stories, and understands none of them

Yes, but also it has the worst parts of foss design. Its interface and methods of dealing with interaction are obtuse and poorly thought out. And its power users can best be described as "linux users but worse"

I am genuinely obsessed with it as a mode of narrative, the expansive range of its designs, its history in literary fiction, comics and film. I have spent years studying it and how it works.
