Well. Mostly yes! He sent my papa a change of address card 2 years ago. Which papa promptly lost. I phoned and then sent a letter to the estate agent that had sold his (their) house who promised to forward it. And I got a card when papa died. So. It feels like yes, but is a bit sporadic!

1. Celebrated what would have been my papa's 98th birthday!!
2. Dadmined for the 98th time!
3. Completed 98 line edits!
4. Counted 98 lambs in the field!
5. Napped for 98 minutes!

1. Painted more mouse kitchen furniture
2. Awoke to the dawn chorus
3. Watched the first 2 episodes of the new Amadeus
4. Talked to solicitor (again)
5. Found a house we both like! Idk maybe we should stay put another year. Maybe not!

2. Was nice to the landlord's agent
3. Posted all the forms for house sale (feels weird)
3. Opened all the windows and doors to welcome in spring
4. Listened to the noises of the countryside

3. Sang in the garden (a neighbour joined in - nice baritone)

Oooh chickadees! I've seen then in the US. I love them! We are really lucky with owls. We have three different kinds here - little, tawny, and barn. So awesome. They sit in the oak just beside the bedroom window hooting!

At the moment there are a lot of blue tits, coal tits, great tits, blackbirds, Robins, hedge sparrows, collared doves, wood pigeons plus a few hawks and owls who are on the look out!

3. Wore my new to me shoes
4. Fed all the birds!
5. Drank a lot of tea!!

The oranges were peeled and the peels fitted to a form to dry out in stage one. They're just about dry now so I've taken them off the forms and have begun removing any remaining pith. Next is cutting to size and shape. Lastly is careful sanding!

They are little circular boxes made by drying out orange peel - pics to come when they're done!
