🫱🏿‍🫲🏾 We urgently need a spirit of internationalist solidarity, built through the guidance of Palestinian comrades and the tireless work of organizers everywhere.

We need everyone to mobilize, amplify, and pressure governments and institutions NOW. The lives of those aboard and the mission to Gaza depend on it.

🍉 As Debt for Climate, we stand in full solidarity with the Palestinian people, our comrades risking everything at sea, and those working tirelessly behind the scenes. We join calls for steady attention in the coming hours — as Global Sumud approaches the shores.

At this most critical time, Spain and Italy have shamefully withdrawn their naval vessels, leaving the flotilla without the protection it urgently needs.

‼️Despite being a humanitarian and peaceful mission, Global Sumud Flotilla has now been ​​​​approached by more than 20 Israeli warships, and four naval mines have been detected near the fleet. Israel has illegally stopped 3 vessels already.

The compass of solidarity set by the flotillas Freedom and Handala — and now Global Sumud — has been echoed by many geographies, from mobilizations to the general strike in Italy on the 22nd.

And you are paying for it.” The action marked the first day of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development Conference (FfD4).
