@trinzu.bsky.social here's a good thing
Today is Election Day in Georgia for Congressional District 14, Georgia House Districts 94 and 130 and Georgia Senate District 53!
We can make a real difference when we show up and vote! Make your voice heard!
Great visiting L'Arche Comox Valley in Courtenay and meeting with residents and ED Lynda Brosko. Their Anchorage Project would create supportive housing and community space for adults with diverse abilities. I’m continuing to advocate in Ottawa for federal support through CMHC.
You'll want to take a shower after reading about Andrew, Fergie, Epstein and the life of the entitled grifters.

The season that never ends! 🔥
This legislation is designed to protect safe access while respecting rights to peaceful expression and assembly.

Similar protections will now exist for places of public worship.
Eligible religious buildings could establish clearly marked access zones to help ensure people can enter safely.
Our priority's simple: protect access to public spaces & support respectful expression. Free expression's protected—but harassment or blocking access isn't. People can still express their views—peacefully, respectfully—but not in ways that block entry or disrupt essential learning or worship spaces.
The designated “safe access zones” will help prevent aggressive or harmful protest activity that interferes with students, educators, families, and people attending religious services.
Everyone deserves to access schools and places of worship without intimidation or disruption. Today, new legislation was introduced that, if passed, will strengthen safe access protections that prevent harassment and disruption at schools and places of worship.
Trump is once again denigrating our PM and ignoring the sovereignty of our border. This isn't "Trump being Trump" it is Trump being Putin.
We are subject to constant psyops and economic pressure to attack our right to exist.

In Davos, PM Carney told the world that Canada will be principled in our commitment to upholding international law. He now admits the war on Iran is illegal — and he's backing it anyway. That's not principled leadership. It's a betrayal of everything he promised.

Not something you see every day. Impressive stuff, Jody! 😬
Provincial NDP teams across Canada are showing what’s possible.
In every province, New Democrats have shown we have what it takes to win and proven that when we win more seats, we make life better for the people who are counting on it. Together, we can keep building on that success.
The finish line is right here.

I was honoured to attend the PIRS Connection: Amplifying Voices event & share reflections on how initiatives support leadership pathways for women, strengthen social infrastructure & create meaningful spaces where practice, policy & lived experience come together.

BC is home to people from all walks of life. This diversity is what makes it the place we all love to call home.
Today, it was incredibly moving to see faith leaders come together in the Legislature as we introduced protections to keep places of worship safe in BC.
Last week, I joined Minister Kelly Greene at the BC Search and Rescue Volunteer Memorial to honour the volunteers who lost their lives while serving.
The memorial is dedicated both to those who died in the line of duty and to the volunteers who continue to serve today.

Celebrating #SocialWorkWeek! Thank you to BC Association of Social Workers for supporting all the frontline heroes. I had the privilege of speaking with three of our amazing social workers from my ministry and I'll be rolling out clips of our interviews this week. Come back to check them out.
Thank you to the Foundation for a Path Forward for bringing us together last night to break bread and build bonds.
When we come together across faiths, cultures, and backgrounds, it reflects our shared commitment to ensure everyone can live with dignity, safety, and hope in their community.
Last week, we kicked off the 100 day countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In 2022, we saw the Canadian men’s team shock the entire world by qualifying and competing at our second ever World Cup; the first time in 36 years.
I know the boys will make us proud.

BC and the @cityofvancouver.bsky.social have been working together on a commitment to better housing options as we work to replace Single Room Occupancy sites in the Granville Entertainment District.

Here’s the plan: The province is working with housing providers to find alternative housing for residents currently living at the Luugat. And working with the City of Vancouver on future housing sites and speeding up approvals.
