MMX is a huge influence on the mechanical design for ChainStaff!

I don't know who would disagree with that. My biggest gripe with all the X games is that the music was never as good as the one from Megaman X.
For such a popular series, it's crazy that it took THREE YEARS for Megaman to come to the Super NES as "Mega Man X". But the wait was well worth it! Excellent graphics, amazing music, super-tight controls and that wall jumping mechanic is *chef's kiss*.
As if your week weren't going badly enough already, here's a video about the NES Power Glove. Sorry about that. youtu.be/CiBzXcOER0o
I shared these before, but it's MAR10 Day, so why not share them again?
Manuals for video games are neat when they have cool pics explaining how to do the moves, like for Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES:

So how do you translate the Japanese sufixes Kun, Chan, and San? Do you ignore them or change it to something else.
Like Kojima-san to Mr. Kojima and Frog-kun to Little Frog?
I recently sat down with the creator of the SNES port of Doom, and the Playstation emulator bleem! & bleemcast! This Friday the 13th at 7:00PM, rip and tear... into a 2+ hour interview with Randy Linden. Set your alarms! 👇

I was attempting an Arthur Rackham vibe with this one, which is an ambitious artist to attempt to emulate.
If nothing else, I am pleased with that ogre’s drip.
😂
Here's how Megaman X2 looked back then before the CX4 was properly emulated.
I still remember the emulation holy grails: when CX4 chip was emulated and Megaman X2 & 3 were finally playable. And when Capcom's CPS2 & CPS3 arcade emulation was finally cracked after YEARS of trying.
I remembr Neogeo dumps coming out and having to wait weeks for a new emu version to support them.
I remember thinking back then when I started that only the more popular games would have roms, only to find out there were dumps for a ton of obscure games I've only seen in magazines.
It was also a magical time when you'd still get new rom dumps every week.
Wow, I forgot about cherryroms.
Spelling mistake:
That's the difference between a thriving franchise and a dead one. Companies can afford to charge more for a thriving one because they know people will pay for it. On the flip side, the dead franchise only sells in bundles and with cheap prices.
Feel free to widely share this curated easy to understand #Satellaview knowledge that I just posted on my blog.
I didn't want to overscope it but I spent a lot of time explaining a curated list of games for those who have no idea what the Satellaview is.

Yes, but too bad it kind of sucks.
The cave area is represented in the image of the hero holding the sword. It's a short area, but really cool. You might be misremembering the waterfall though because there's no waterfall in that area.
Prince of Persia (SNES) is such a gorgeous game!
