Her boat was illegally seized in international waters and the crew was kidnapped and is being held unlawfully in an undisclosed location - pretty textbook kidnapping contrary to your extensive argument "That bitch was not kidnapped"

Well it was only a year ago when he was very loud about being a zionist, not a child then so that seems irrelevant. Curious for sources for the creators being zionist

He very clearly said Zionist - like if you are going to say he meant a very different thing then you'll have to spell that out a bit more

Every day that this horror continues, I think of Omar El Akkad's tweet: "One day, when it’s safe, when there’s no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it’s too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this."

Gazans Once Escaped To Rafah. Now Israel Is Razing It. (Gift Article) In the last few weeks, Israel has demolished extensive areas of Gaza’s southernmost city, Rafah.

Although relatively little ground combat has been going on since the ceasefire ended, the IDF has been busy demolishing the emptied city of Rafah building by building.

“We will replicate the model implemented in Rafah in other areas of the Strip as well,” the IDF said this week.

I agree with you there - I mean having a lefty up, knowing that he was tired (or doing that once he saw that he was) would have been smart. Rather than having a pitcher they don't trust right now in Yariel start to warm up

What about Mason Fluharty or Brandon Little though...having one of them up would have made way more sense

Interesting - I think a productive analysis is on outcomes based on the voters' relationships to primary, tertiary and service based economies - I think voters with relationships to primary economies likely skew conservative at this point, would be interesting to see analysis of why also

Forestry Giant Not Owed Compensation, BC Supreme Court Rules | The Tyee Teal-Jones had argued it faced ‘constructive taking’ on Haida Gwaii.

This is a significant decision in several ways (Teal-Jones lost) and a good overview article. The finding that a TFL does not give property rights in the trees to forestry companies is specifically exciting for biodiversity as courts have held otherwise previously

Mutual Aid in the Age of Fascism - Boston Review As people are being deputized to do violence, building connections is political resistance.

"But mutual aid is more than glorified good neighborliness. The response to the Somerville abduction is a case in point: such projects can channel rage and fear into disciplined, concrete action, linking movements and bringing new individuals into them."

The Guardian view on Donald Trump’s tariff ultimatum: tribute for access to America’s empire | Editorial Editorial: As the White House retools US imperialism with import duties, others must resist dependency – deepening regional ties and reducing exposure to chokepoints

Fairly cogent take at first read.

Focus on a couple examples of how tariffs and the vacillating threats of tariffs impact small businesses. It's confusing to understand how tariffs operate for small businesses who sell to the US.
