I do not have the lived experience of racism but I think I can spot it. If you are suggesting that white people can not spit racism and challenge it then we are going to be in a worse position than now!

My career is working with the most vulnerable children in our society- wanting to be a councillor is wanting to sort the mess out the Tories have created in children services in Devon.

Should we dump people on benefits and forget them ? How about we design a society where having a disability doesn’t stop you having a job!

No one person I’ve met in the Labour Party has been racist in fact the complete opposite.

Today I explained to the Prime Minister Keir Starmer that some children in #Exeter don’t receive the support they need because our #SEND system in Devon is in disarray.

I welcomed £1.7bn of new money going into SEND, and look forward to the reform the whole system needs.

Council uses fire-and-rehire to change contracts Devon County Council wants to scrap a £450-a-year car user allowance for more than 800 staff.

This is really shocking from Devon County Council.

Over 800 staff, including care workers, are being faced with termination of their employment unless they agree to a £450 pay cut.
