This is appalling. The Home Office rejected an appeal from the foreign secretary, Yvette Cooper, that would have protected outstanding students in some of the world’s most dangerous countries from changes to the UK’s immigration system

The government has absolutely no mandate for this. Labour never mentioned in its manifesto that it planned to undermine and restrict this fundamental cornerstone of our democracy - a move which will place us on a path toward authoritarian justice - contact your MP now and ask them to oppose it
Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, Greenland, Canada, and on and on and on. Lindsey Graham says they are “marching through the world.”
They don’t care how many US soldiers they get killed. Meanwhile, they’re building concentration camps at home for Americans to die in. What will it take for people to wake up?
The government posting a video comparing scraping your knee with a 3 year prison sentence in order to justify its undermining and restriction of a fundamental cornerstone of our democracy is one of its most absurd arguments yet.
Every Labour MP should watch this, step up and vote it down

Apricots seem to be the worst offender. It looks like they don't pick them quite ripe enough. One day....
I've had the same problem when I buy apricots. It's really frustrating. I'd really like to try them fresh.
I've bought other so called 'perfectly ripe fruit' & found they're a long way from it, but other times they're too ripe. It's annoying.
Labour have become the 'moderate arm' of Reform. This is a vicious dehumanising policy of 'some people are more equal than others'. #GeorgeOrwell #ShameOnLabour
A cartoon from the 1950’s that’s more relevant than ever 💔
Senate Republicans just voted to block our War Powers Resolution & allow Trump's regime-change war of choice in Iran. Once again, they're contracting out their constitutional duties to Donald Trump, despite the will of their constituents.
Shameful.

Remember: what Trump and his administration are doing is only possible because Congress and the Supreme Court have abdicated their proper constitutional functions of check and balance.
Ummmmm..... Postal Voting has been around for many decades, long before the Blair- Brown governments - I remember having a postal vote for the 1983 General Election. He can't even get the history right. What an ignorant, stupid Loser he is.
Lofty vantage point today to observe bigger hills, and how there's still good, fairly consistent snow up high. Glas Maol showing off its ski slopes...
Finest ham at the ready?😬
The news is terrible but I’m going to continue posting birds and frogs and flowers and the sky because looking at nature can help us keep going in the face of all the awful. Please take good care of yourselves

Turns out penguins do have knees. They're just not where you think they ought to be.
