I watch movies, eat junk food, and I know things.

Makes the most sense, really. M:I is more espionage thriller whereas M:I-2 is more action thriller.
Iโm actually rewatching part 2 at this very moment. Itโs been DECADES.
๐ฌ Currently watching What About Bob? โ Bill Murrayโs neurotic charm meets Richard Dreyfussโs unraveling sanity. A comedy classic!

I desperately miss movie scores from the โ90s and early 2000sโwhen soundtracks actually had identityโbold, imaginative, and instantly transported us to another world before a single line was spoken, setting the tone for unforgettable cinematic experiences!

Loved it. Totally get why itโs a comfort movie for you. Itโs got such a smooth, laid-back vibe but still keeps you locked in.
20.04.2025 19:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Bummer that Demonic was a letdown! Honestly, hadnโt even heard of it until your post. ๐
On a brighter note, Iโm finally watching The Score (2001) โ De Niro, Norton & Brando together has me hyped! ๐ฌ๐
Always down for a good double feature โ if youโve got any gems youโd recommend after, Iโm all ears!
Right? Thatโs one of the things I love most about her posts too. Iโm *always* rambling about movie scores โ especially from the bygone eras โ so itโs really cool seeing someone else whoโs just as passionate and into it!
13.04.2025 06:54 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0So here's the version from STRANGE DAYS. You'll hear it is the same melody, but there are some additional strings with a recurring motif from STRANGE DAYS. This is in no way a criticism, I really do love it when composers do this. I find it comforting, for some reason. Soothing. Like a warm blanket.

I think this is the most color Iโve seen from one of your photos haha.
For sure! *Literally* just said the exact same thing to a friend on here! Haha
Any time a movie treats the soundtrack like a headliner, it INSTANTLY elevates the whole thing, IMO.
YesSs! Iโm stoked! The visuals look SO clean โ I love how the tone of this one is all red, compared to TRON: LEGACYโs cool blue vibe.
Also โ is it just me, or do movies that really lean into promoting their soundtrack always end up hitting harder and making the whole thing feel infinitely better?!
TRON ARES looks great! I'm only disappointed that Garrett Hedlund and Bruce Boxleitner aren't back for this, but I'm keeping an open mind. Really looking forward to it! ๐ฅ
05.04.2025 18:37 โ ๐ 22 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0I know that this is really a movie trailer but Iโm seeing it as a preview of the NIN score and, based on what is here, I couldnโt be more stoked.

05.04.2025 21:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh man, honestly โ anytime you posted a film score on Twitter, it pretty much always made me wanna (re)watch whatever it was. Your enthusiasm for that stuff just rubbed off on me โ especially since our tastes line up so much.
(One of the things I actually missed most about ya! Haha)
@turkishmeatchugger.bsky.social You peep this yet? Feel like I vaguely remember you posting about it back on Twitter / ๐?
Honestly kinda surprised by how great this looks โ WAY more hyped than I expected to be!
Iโm honestly blown away by how impressive this trailer looks! Canโt even remember the last time a trailer gave me goosebumps โ but this one absolutely did. The visuals, soundtrack, Jeff Bridgesโ voice kicking offโฆ everything hit.
Consider me thoroughly locked in for whatever comes next! #TronAres
I've been meaning to check this out for such a long time! Your post was the perfect reminder, and you really won me over by including that remarkable score! Can't wait to dive in! Thanks!

30.03.2025 19:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I need to give this a proper rewatch someday. Kept checking my phone every 15-20 minutesโusually a sign of boredomโbut I've done the same with plenty of movies I love now.

He's got a TON of wonderful insights in there. And, honestly, even just reading the book itself helped me forget about it for a little while. a.co/d/g6pDws4
*Exactly* how Julian made me feel after discovering his videos! The onset of tinnitus can be frightening and, at times, debilitating. So any time I can personally help someone find "relief*, makes me feel like I'm doing MY part.
Glad I could help!
Now THAT looks like the type of badass woman that would obliterate a steak, watch action movies, have unadulterated gangbangs, and also kick your fucking ass!
Those other pics just weren't adding up. But these are ๐๐
You're completely delusional.
18.01.2025 14:24 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm not sure what you're asking? If Criterion can't acquire rights to a movie, it doesn't get a release.
Criterion seems to have a deal with NEON, they've released a few of their movies right away.
