Well, the people running Oxfordshire County Council have finally got Banbury onto Have I Got News For You. Though frankly, it's a little embarrassing .

I visited St. Mary's Church in Banbury earlier and decorated a Christmas Tree for their Christmas Tree Festival. The Festival is held annually to raise money for charities. This year the theme is "Some of our Favourite Things...".

Since taking office, we’ve been committed to fixing the NHS, and waiting lists are down by 230,000 over the past year.

Continuing this freeze on prescription charges will save patients around £12 million next year.

I enjoyed attending the RNIB’s ‘Out of Sight: vision rehabilitation’ event on Monday and learning more about how I can support blind and partially sighted constituents in Banbury as their Member of Parliament. It was also a highlight of my day to meet Cinnamon, the Guide Dog!

It's great to be a part of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee, representing housing issues in our local area - which continues to be the most common topic that constituents ask for my assistance with. Great forum to feed back issues directly to ministers.

I was pleased to attend an 'End the Cage Age' event on Wednesday, which spoke about improving animal welfare standards and specifically on phasing out cages and ensuring all hens have the freedom to move and express natural behaviours. I am always keen to promote animal welfare. #EndTheCageAge

So all these years have passed, and Wroxton school have just sent me this, something I did whilst I was there! I'm glad to see I was concerned with making my mark on the school and leaving a legacy.

I am pleased that the Government are rolling out veterans support centres, which will benefit the 3291 veterans in the Banbury constituency (according to the 2021 census).

Grand Opening of Kebabish!🌯

It was great to go to the opening of the new Kebabish store on Monday, which is down on Calthorpe Street. The shop has just re-opened there after having been a staple on Broad Street for many years. It smelled delicious!
