Wrapped up another semester teaching at VSU! Grateful for the chance to guide my students as we explored how systems, communities, and lived experiences shape our health. Teaching continues to remind me why equity, access, and opportunity matter in every corner of our lives.

I was especially proud to be joined by my amazing mom, a disabled veteran, and my two incredible daughters. Seeing three generations of women showing up together is a powerful statement for women leadership!
It was wonderful hearing Debra share her vision with the Liberal Women of Chesterfield County this morning. Was also great to meet so many kind and engaged women who care deeply about elevating Democratic leadership here in Chesterfield.

This year, one of the most meaningful projects was partnering with the City of Richmond’s Department of Homeless Services for a workshop on Continuums of Care and integrated services. We explored how teams can break down silos and better serve individuals experiencing homelessness.
