Going to see Wicked today with my daughter. We saw it on Broadway years ago. But just found out it's only Act 1. Disappointing.
Teach your kids to love to read. When new books come into the room, spend some time doing book ads. Hold up each book and discuss. Have kids who already read book, talk about it. Read the books yourself and talk. Then hand the books to kids that want to try. #eduskye
@ruthef.bsky.social Welcome!
Teach your kids to love to read. Have your struggling readers read with you. They read a page, you read a page. React. Overtly. Laugh, gasp, sob. Show them that books are more than hard words. They are amazing worlds to fall into. #eduskye
Teach your kids to love to read. Read aloud every single day. Choose a chapter book, regardless of grade. Make it exciting, sad, funny, enjoyable. Do not add an assignment to this read aloud. It is for pure enjoyment for the kids. Give them 20-30 minutes a day to just love books! #eduskye
It does. I miss those times.
Hey Maire! Miss you!
Been thinking a lot about teaching kids to love to read. Have each child pick a book they are not able to read yet because it's too difficult. Have them keep the book in their desk. It's a visual reminder of why they have to push through reading skill lessons. Stay tuned for more strategies. #edusky

I'm not sure who set up K12. I'm seeing it for the first time. Interesting. But whoever set it up needs to edit the opening page of the website.
Are you actually saying that it didn't matter if VP Harris was qualified? Gasp.
I had stopped using Twitter when it switched to X. It's been a long time since I've had to edit my posts and comments to fit the character count. π€£
You accepted a status quo w/this election. Harris was beaten down after each interview & debate. No time should have been spent on what she "should" have done. All the time should have been spent on what he was doing, planning to do, and is doing now. You did better than most, but not enough.
I think you are correct because, after I verified, I saw comments.
He had to have seen the signs early on. There's nothing inappropriate about punishing a criminal.
Glad to be here and see so many old friends. Is there a reason why I cannot see or submit comments?
Why do you think he never moved to hold anyone accountable? And Merrick Garland really screwed up.
Done. Thank you for the reminder.
