In 2024, PATH celebrated 20 years of malaria partnership in #Zambia. Since 2004, PATH has led several large malaria projects supporting the NMEC, including MACEPA and PMI PAMO Plus. MACEPA has helped build a network of 25,000 CHWs across Zambia - like Margret Chalo below. (7/11)

New study from Namibia shows that malaria rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) can stay positive for weeks after treatment. Standard RDTs had a median positivity of 42 days, while new ultra-sensitive RDTs remined positive for 67 days. Implications for surveillance & elimination. ๐ฆ๐ฌ tinyurl.com/ymfrbwjz
