There are quite a few older buildings in NYC, a few going back to the 17th century. But it's not a town noted for its preservation of the past. There are lots of blocks of flats of the same age and design of our old joint though.

Well, ancient by New York standards, not British and Irish. They do like knocking things down and building new ones here. It's early 20th century. There's even an old gaslight fitting (non-operational) in the bathroom.

Happily, this ancient block of flats we're in has piped heating that doesn't cost any extra and keeps the place bare-friendly through much of winter. Admittedly, while doing so, it often makes the sound of a Mediæval knight falling down a stone staircase. Swings and roundabouts.

Nothing says erotomania like caring for small marsupials. 🙄

Perhaps for a minority who feel the law has no business telling us what to wear, it would be consistent to encourage naturists to follow whatever grooming style makes them happy. It can't possibly hurt anyone.

I don't really think it's much different from men's preferring a shaved face or a beard. Or wearing their hair cut short or in the sort of haystack arrangement I have, last fashionable in 1973. It's just a matter of finding a style you enjoy.

Well, that's less an aesthetic or ideological statement than increased laziness in retirement.

Nudity can also be a little unusual and supernatural, but absolutely worth celebrating!

A pressing need, in fact.

Well, not at events like that. We need many more of them. Here in New York, naturists are one of the few minorities not to have an annual parade. (Slight exaggeration.)

It's a fashion whose time has come!

I was taken by the (Other Site's) spam today stating:

Glad my outfits are considered addictive, and I hope many of you will be sporting them soon.

That's no reason not to do it when you believe the world needs to rethink its attitude to the human body.
