I use persistent in my general mix, also fertilise once a month with seaweed . The light is indirect, usually a minimum of a metre from a window.

You can always tell when winter is around the corner. The Zygo cactus is in full bloom.

That is still very dangerous. Black bamboo is one of the worst. Even confined with barriers it spread. All mine are in pots.

Yes mainly Himalayan weeping bamboo and Nepalese Blue. Both crumpers.

Discussion has been on Privacy screen and what to grow, I recommended bamboo for a quick temporary solution. Noninvasive of course. This bamboo is just over two years old!

Non invasive bamboo works well, and is very quick to grow. Mine is 2 - 3 metres tall in 2 years.

Yes and no. Depends on the terrain. If it is comfortable to do so barefoot is the best option.
Speaking of hats, I have had parts of my ears removed due to cancer, so would highly recommend wearing something.
