consider this: lesbians. "burn for you" would've been so-so-so good, so-so-so scrumptious, it'd drive me mad.
why didn't the unofficial bridgerton musical make them gay??๐ญ๐ญ
16.02.2026 21:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.
11.02.2026 21:49 โ ๐ 5010 ๐ 1580 ๐ฌ 168 ๐ 43I was so touched by all the kind messages I received yesterday. It has given me a lot of encouragement for what will now be a big swing:
My next animated project will be the first episode of a gothic horror interpretation of the Nutcracker called "Clara and the Below."
Matt Braly has shared never-before-seen development artwork from his canceled feature film at Sony Pictures Animation.
The project centered on a young boy who embarks on an emotional journey into a fantastical realm of Thai spirits, hoping to find a cure for his illness.
this is my preferred method of venting. the meme may or may not be erring on the side of outdated but gosh darn it if it doesn't portray my point exactly.

people who long for faithful/"solid" adaptations fascinate me.
you already have the thing. why do you need another version of the same thing that probably won't even be up to par in your eyes anyway?
there two types of video essayists on youtube: those who quote articles and academic papers, and those who make you listen to other people's tiktoks.

i guess youtube's recently implemented topic-specific like animations or something along those lines, but the comedy one is unintentionally funny. why is are the little guy's tears of joy red? why have you made him bleed? no video is that funny, please save him.
26.01.2026 12:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0obviously *some* are going to slip in no matter what, nobody's perfect. but... when there are *clear* signs, and the story just generally has a weird vibe to it...
i think we just have to put our thinking caps more often. media literacy is important even when it comes to reddit posts.
considering the absolute *state* of the internet right now, i feel like you (and this applies to all of us, i think) should make an effort to keep clear of the posts that exist purely for engagement-farming.
25.01.2026 12:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0considering the fact that the cast (for some inexplicable reason) doesn't have the chance to process what they've heard/read and think their commentary through, it feels like the responsibility lies with whoever prepare(s) the lineup to make sure that the stories are *real*.

the magnus archives have a certain jorge luis borges vibe to them. or it's the other way around, i'm not sure. or both!

A few abstract frames where water is the main subject.
I keep coming back to it because it never behaves the same way twice. Light, motion, and timing do most of the work.
Itโs one of my favorite ways to slow down and really look.
