Fact: Apart from pure recognition factor, one of the major reasons your fanart gets more eyes on it than your OCd is because people are perverts for narrative context, and your OCs don't have any. Corollary: you don't actually need to write a whole-ass graphic novel to achieve that narrative context. You do need to know what your OC's story is, but once you do, you can literally just draw contextless snapshots from that story that raise more questions than they answer and people will fill in the blanks.

the strongest one is @blackskyweb.xyz. and they've been COOKING HARD

they wrote their own everything, 100% independent from bluesky. and yet, blacksky users can be found here on bluesky

it's 100% compatible

and you know what? bluesky knows this

they WANT it to be like this. this isn't a hack or anything we're doing against their will

their mission has ALWAYS been to enable people to move AWAY from bluesky's infrastructure

this is what they promised to everyone, including their own investors

they made atproto, a decentralised protocol on which "platforms" like bluesky can be built

blacksky is one of them: you can migrate to it, a 100% independent platform, with its own moderation, rules, terms, etc...

while keeping EVERYTHING. your followers won't even notice anything
