I still have 40 patches left of my trial run of 50. This is the first time I've made patches and I want to hopefully make more in the future! Perhaps a train-themed one?

Train explosion and fire on the Yeniseyskiy Most Rail and Road Bridge at 53.650403,91.545475. The bridge suffered unknown damages and has disrupted transportation in the area. I'm still shifting through all the data, but there's been at least three distinct attacks in eastern Russia on rail.

‼️ Russia: “Russian Railways has run out of money to purchase rails, wagons and locomotives”

Bottom line: Ukraine can't win the logistics war by hitting oil refineries alone. It needs a rail interdiction doctrine built for speed, proximity, and disruption. The freedom of movement Russia currently enjoys must end.
25.05.2025 22:06 — 👍 26 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0Adapt Strike Risk Profile at Tactical Depth Start hitting targets within 20 miles of the front. This is where Russian trains are most vital-and most vulnerable.
Even selective strikes here could choke frontline Sustainment.
Exploit Tactical Choke Points Russia's occupied rail network has limited redundancy.
Target:
Bridges
Tunnel exits
Traction stations
Maintenance depots
Key marshalling yards
Small effort = cascading delays.
Scale Up Loitering Precision Munitions Rework long-endurance kamikaze drones:
Shorter range
Bigger payload
Real-time targeting of moving trains
Human-in-the-loop or autonomous terminal guidance
Develop a Dedicated Rail Strike Doctrine Rail interdiction must become a formal operational category.
Build kill chains that can respond to fleeting targets at rail chokepoints-bridges, tunnels, and yards.
Expand Real Time ISR
Use persistent UAVS, commercial satellite tasking, and HUMINT to monitor Russian rail corridors.
Loitering sensors + real-time strike cueing = feasible interdiction of moving trains.
Recommendations: Improving Ukraine's Rail Interdiction Strategy To level the field and disrupt Russia's frontline logistics, Ukraine needs a more deliberate and aggressive approach to targeting rail movement.
25.05.2025 22:06 — 👍 7 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0Bottom Line:
Until Ukraine adapts its rail interdiction strategy to target operational rail traffic near the front, Russian logistics will continue to enjoy a dangerous level of mobility and resilience.
These strikes aim to impose strategic costs but they come at the expense of tactical disruption. Rail lines within 20 miles of the front often remain untouched, giving Russia freedom to sustain operations.
25.05.2025 22:06 — 👍 7 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 03. Asset Prioritization Bias With a limited stock of precision munitions, Ukraine has focused on deep rear targets:
Oil refineries
Fuel depots
Electrical substations
Symbolic Moscow infrastructure
2. Cautious Strike Doctrine Ukraine favors deep, symbolic strikes over tactical interdiction near the front. Rail strikes often appear designed for political signaling or morale impact, rather than logistical disruption.
