I went to a comedy club tonight and the headliner (Joe Dombrowski) was filming a special. You know when that comes out I'm going to be watching at full volume so I can be like, "do you hear that weird cackle when he made the Lois joke? That was me!!1!"

Dream big, I say

I probably could fly I just never choose to because then I would get bogged down in the details of how cold it would be and how my sense of direction is shit etc etc

I suppose I'm too much of an overthinker to realize my full potential

I don't know how it works for other people, it's possible other people are having super cool amazing blockbuster dreams and I'm just really into tiny joys

FYI I can't really dream about *anything* bc my brain is kinda sludgy, being asleep and all, it's more like my dream self is aware I can affect the trajectory of the dream, sometimes wildly (like "I don't want to be here, I want to be at the beach") but I'm not like, composing Oscar-winning films

Whenever the subject of lucid dreaming comes up people always say "wow that's so cool you can choose to have ANY dream you want!" And sometimes they ask me what kind of stuff I dream about. Now I can say "$200 LoTR Lego sets" 🤓

(Btw men are often very creepy about this so I bring it up less)

That's my favorite bit too. I don't have the same control of my thoughts as I do when I am fully awake but asleep me has good priorities

As far as dream logic goes this one was pretty reasonable 🤷‍♀️🤣

This is probably not worth posting, but I am a lucid dreamer and therefore have a lot of control over most of my dreams.

So while the initial setup was born from deeper in my subconscious, I actively chose the road trip and everything that followed, which cracks ne up

Last night I dreamed that I was arguing with a friend about whether it was legal for Costco to sell Tupperware in Washington state (I was a yes, she was a no).

So we drove from Eugene to Kirkland, I proved her wrong, and also the Rivendell Lego set was on sale for $200 there which was AWESOME

Mine does this too! And it started because she learned it from a small dog 😅

My Microsoft products have been seriously on the fritz - Teams documents and Microsoft forms not synching/updating, emails not sending OR being sent but not showing up in my sent folder or showing in the email thread, outlook calendar events disappearing

It's making my job impossible 😭

If this was a person I knew and it just happened, that's cool. A srranger who thinks it's a privilege worth paying for? Ehhhhhhh
