I don't see ANY Evil Dead here. Nor do I see Alien, Event Horizon, The Thing, The Fog, Pet Semetary, In the Mouth of Madness, 28 Days Later, The Babadook, Dawn of the Dead, The Exorcist, Smile, The Fly, Halloween... I could go on. But it's a good start!

And I’ll tell you what really irked me in #28YearsLater — I'm an archer, unless that 12 year old kid’s pulling 50lb on his bow, he’s not driving an arrow through anything vital. Yet the film literally says his shots “won’t penetrate the chest”… and then has him punch one straight through a skull.

#28YearsLater also commits the crime of having the plot advance because of a stupid kid's stupid decision. Lad takes a single trip to the mainland and after putting himself down for being a shit archer, wakes up convinced he's Rambo??? WTF???

I've finally watched #28YearsLater. It's "Eh". Which is somehow worse than being shit, because at least shit films give you something to get angry about. This just leaves you feeling like you’ve been disappointed by a vending machine that’s eaten your money and given you nothing in return. #Horror
