Crazy we're getting this before a Prime 4 Direct.

Lanolin's new look that I have for her has dialed back /some/ of the military-like gear, moving the position of the Wispon bell, changing the tank top but keeping the black sports bra.

Easily the biggest change is in her hairstyle. Can't wait to her her drawn with her new look.

I actually managed to get this like, 90% done today! It's definitely leaning heavier into the heavy Teen rating I initially envisioned for this series, if for no other reason this time than Lanolin having conniptions about physical appearance.

But at the end of it all, I just like making female characters who are simultaneously strong, independent and intelligent while still having tropey traits applied to them, because I'm a weak, strange little man-wolf-thing.

Will she be supportive of Laik and Lanolin by trying to get them together? Absolutely. Will (unconsciously) use her feminine charm(s) to get Laik and other characters to do things for her? Heck yes. She was designed that way for a reason.

I wanted a male/female friends duo where each are supportive of one another without there being romantic tension getting in the way. It's not a dynamic we get enough of and quite frankly, I want to make a difference there.

Yeah, so okay, #AthenatheOtter is very obviously my fan servicey character. Purposely, at that I am totally transparent about. She's important, will play a big role in Laik's life, but won't be a love interest in any way.
She's there to support Laik in the most platonic, just-friends way possible.

Trying to get one in, but Ko-Fi never wants to cooperate with me and I always get stuck with that little spinning red ring.
