At one point if you wanted to achieve complex game AI and pattern sets via a language model, assuming you grow enough as a studio to cost your own data center and agent training, you would consider it?

Project Zomboid is complex enough as a second life game to test things on it for example.

SL2 for Stalker 2 in those texts. And yeah, they do got that roadmap alongside improvements. That multiplayer they mentioned seems to be deathmatches only, so I'd be curious if they would do an open world co-op in a 3rd or self-contained game.

but I wouldn't really stick anymore to stalker even with monthly drops and QOL updates. A lot of room for improvements from GSC, but for players it would be mostly QOL things than extras from there.

Also TLD as it is has been working more like a Fallout and Zomboid. Second-life-like and very open.

Because of how I tend to play Fallout 4 (fundamentally still a fallout and mods often stay true to the canon/heights) I can recycle a lot of content and mod more to it intertwine altogether. My problem with SL2 and even something like RDR2 is that it's a full package that you come back into just ->

I think the best usage of genAI I've seen is in text roleplay chats. It's definitely still very behind in prepping up media and worlds within long term memory and setting context, but the curve might be just as good as people wanting second life experiences in games with advanced AI and immersion.

GTA 6's content and density VS the evolution of RAGE after RDR2. Seeing a game that may be 4 or more times bigger in scope and content than red 2 and all stuffed into the base PS5 feels quite scary

TLD is an isolated scenario where the art style had to morph to fit a different type of environment and consistency - It's been around long enough for people to keep liking it, warm up to it or just stay biased.

Photorealism and people just preferring it as a standard on anything that's 3D oriented is still a tricky topic for me to wrap up. I'll gladly take something like the OUTLAST games since they're an obvious example of photorealism used as a medium for a based-on-a-success and horror storyline

Project Zomboid (wind and fog). For being an isometric 2D game it does good enough in packing some more density and dynamism to the climate and lighting conditions in that game
