An otherwise gently rippling sea splashes against the pier end with the white surf and backlit turquoise water reaching halfway up to the top of the pier where a lone person stands casting with a rod beside a similarly silhouetted post with perhaps a lamp on top and something jutting out, like a directional sign. The rest of the water is a deep blue and green in short horizontal strokes, with paler bits of reflection, especially of the splash against the pier and the narrow strip of sunlit brick down the pier end.
