There’s a heartbreaking scene at the end of “Requiem for a dream” where Harry is in prison and he calls Marion and promises her that he’s coming back.
She knows it’s not true.
He knows it’s not true.
But there they are, faced with no other choice but to believe this impossible thing.

Imagine if Ali had given up the first time?
You chip away and you chip away and you just keep fighting for what you believe. Love this for her.

Not sure about the U.S but authors also get a payment (albeit tiny) when a book is borrowed in the UK and Australia.
