This all needs to end the Republican Party, not because they all go to jail, but because no one ever trusts them again. A representative republic must be founded on truth and trust. A betrayal of those must be fundamentally disqualifying.

There’s a lot of information and disinformation about what is going on with ICE and our immigration system under Trump; it is hard to know what to believe. In my opinion, you can still trust what a judge writes. For good information, read this. Scandalous!

Obviously, “etc” does VERY heavy lifting above. Trumped up charges have been central to Republican smear campaigns for my whole (long) life. But, in the 2nd Trump administration, these trumped up smears have all now been funneled into our justice system through formal prosecutions under Bondi.

It’s astonishing to me how applicable the long-established vernacular term “trumped-up charges” (which was a well ensconced aphorism LONG before Donald Trump had any political attention), but is so little used in public media. Prosecutions of: Comey, James, Lemon, Powell etc ALL are TRUMPED UP.

How do we know that what ICE agents are doing is wrong? They cover their faces while doing it.

How do we know that what the Trump Administration is doing is wrong? When challenged about it, they immediately reach for a lie.

If we accept a government which lies, we’ve given up our democracy.

Why is the tariff case taking so long? Every day, suspect tariff rates are applied to billions of dollars and millions of tons cargo. Rates were changed unconstitutionally and dramatically across the board. This has long been an emergency. This dawdling by Supreme Court is dereliction of duty.

Diplomatic immunity, anyone?? Nothing says “Republican “ more than militant ignorance.

I feel safer when criminals are behind bars for their sentences and subsequently deported, not removed from prison by ICE and released somewhere else or just pardoned by the President if they give enough money to his campaign or crypto account.

The Republican majority on the Supreme Court used similar reasoning in the immunity decision saying that the possibility of prosecution after the fact would impermissibly discourage a President from boldly breaking the law.

Mission accomplished! Again, no hesitation.

This was their ruling AFTER PRETTI WAS KILLED, irreparably.
This is what Republicans consider justice. Telling Republican agents to hesitate and follow the law is irreparable harm out balancing even the death of an innocent citizen observer.
