Who out there works at a company that maintains internal forks of OSS repos?
Followup: How much time do you think gets spent each day/week/month/etc merging the upstream back into the fork?

I think we were all gaslit by "Hotel California".
Name another song by the Eagles that you actually like. (If you say Desperado, we are now enemies)

I'm on Jeffrey Lebowski's train of thought. "I've had a long day and I just hate the fuckin eagles." (besides a song or two)

tar: Cowardly refusing to create an empty archive

I almost always use a CDN for static assets, but this one silly little mini project really didn't need it.

I laughed a little too loud when I saw this error in the Action.

Hey @jennybryan.bsky.social,
Sorry to make a post like this but I couldn't figure out how to get in touch with you otherwise.

We at GitKraken made a PR to update the images in your happy-git-with-r repo.

My response when OpenCode and Minimax ask me "The plan is approved, would you like me to implement the changes?".

I am fully open to the issue existing between my keyboard and chair, I'm just not sure how, yet.

The image above is just a tracker of total websocket messages handled by 2 simple JS websocket listeners.

I increment a counter on each message from each stream and then I subtract the firehose counter from the jetstream counter.

A negative value means firehose is faster, positive means jetstream

I'm doing some fiddling with the Bluesky firehose and jetstream and I'm seeing some interesting results.

@pfrazee.com, @bsky.app and anyone else familiar with these things, how is the jetstream delivering more messages than the firehose it listens to?

OzempicClaw - The thinnest AI assistant yet The thinnest AI assistant yet. Built-in token diet. Your agents consume 40% fewer tokens by wanting less.

OpenClaw has spawned a bunch of lighter weight options: nanobot, nextclaw, picoclaw, nullclaw

This was inevitable

I'm probably late to the party:
I wonder if there is some optimization to be made for using stronger models during the "Plan" phase and then breaking it up and delegating smaller tasks to cheaper models.

If you are on the fence about checking out agentic hype, just remember that most of this stuff is heavily subsidized at the moment.

Right now is quite possible the only time you will see so much of it given away for free. Use it while you can.

I do think that there might be some truth to it, like the bandsintown site could easily be an OpenClaw bot, but any time you spend building that is time you aren't spending on something else.

I don't think it is. It's just what I hear some people say on various platforms. Something about being able to prompt stuff that some SaaS companies do.

I'm so excited to be interviewed for a podcast tomorrow. I probably shouldn't say which, yet, but I have been a big fan of their work for ages. I'll keep you all posted when I'm given the green light to talk about it.

I think the conversations about AI lose so much nuance. I wonder if there are analogies we could make that have more weight to them than just debating the AI itself.

I'll go first.

As a snowboarder, I would rather see a 720 with some stank on it instead of some X-games 2360.

Yes, I know it's a bit lacking on the marketing site. But what's the old saying?

If you aren't embarrassed by your product/site you launched too late.

Messijo is still very rough around the edges, but I just learned that @bsky.app is using @growthbook.io for their feature flagging by using it.
