To be honest I think the approach could be delivered in 3-4 years. Even with a redesign of Euston taking 2 years I can't understand why 2040 has been mooted. They should be able to deliver something within 10 years from now. Especially with the amount of prep already done. 1/2

So I went to a Community Drop-In Event a couple weeks back and saw a rendering of the approach, and while I was intrigued by the engineering but didn't understand why the Euston Tunnel would take a year but no-one knew when the Approaches will be done.

Speaking as a former buzzfeed employee – and one who didn't sign an exit deal with a partial NDA – is it probably worth noting AI was just one of a long line of pivots for a media company posing as a tech company. Buzzfeed was largely finished long before the AI move.
