All things considered I think it's remarkably intuitive compared to other 3d applications... That's quite a low bar though and as you say 3d is just difficult. I might've found it intuitive because I've been working in 3d for so long π€

The bevel shader does more than just smooth out edges, it also blends surfaces between objects, so you can create complex forms by using simple shapes and primitives. 1/7
I don't think there is an "end" to this scale... I keep thinking I'm close and then find more todo π³
