Ashe’s attention followed hers, and those kind emerald hues narrowed into a fierce glare; one befitting of a trained knight. “Something’s not right..”

❝ Then take a seat! Should only be a few minuets now! I won’t let you down! ❞

❝ I know, professor. I was just making a joke. ❞

❝ Well, it was just going to be a meal for me. . ❞

He teased. Chuckling. ❝ But I suppose I can cut you in on my meal. Hope you like roast! ❞

❝ Oh, it’s like a pop quiz! ❞

He chimed, nodding his head. ❝ Sure, I welcome an inspection any time. ❞

❝ Haha, I don’t know about All that but it looks like it’s working well enough for me! ❞

Ashe had just roasted a slab of pork, and diced mixed vegetables. He seemed to be humming a tune.

❝ Weapon maintenance is one of the first things we’re taught in the academy, I’m shocked some people forgot the lesson. ❞

With a bag draped over his left arm, filled with little trinkets he bought through their outing today, Ashe replied with a content hum, to his voice.

He’d really enjoyed reconnecting with Annette! It’s been too long, since they all spent so much time together. Now was the perfect time, too.(+)

His arm kept around her, she’d likely even feel a shiver from him too, despite him trying to keep his.. ahem, cool.

Slowly pushing open the door to the nearest outpost. Escorting the pair inside..

No words. He can tell by the shivering. Just going to wrap the cloaked half of his arm around her.

Yet, the determined, yet pleading stare of their eyes.. Ashe nodded, affirming her request. ❝ Alright, it’ll be our secret Bernadetta. ❞

❝ Sounds like as useful a super power as any! Especially for you, Bernadetta. I believe the library has a few books about the study of reading weather patterns. Maybe that’s a good place to start! ❞

And Ashe gave an approving, simple smile. It did him good to see her in such high spirits.
