New oil drilled in North Sea will belong to company thats owns the oil field. Haven't noticed private sector oil companies showing altruism in the past. They will sell it for as much as they can to whoever can pay. That won't help with UK energy bills. A bit of extra tax to UK maybe but that's it.

Thankfully, I don't think there's much risk of integration given current polls but Scottish Government needs to improve its message on this. Unionist parties' wider claim that SNP want independence for its own sake also needs a strong, clear and coherent response.
